Before joining Benjamin F. Edwards & Co. as a new accounts specialist, Mrs. Romero held a variety of positions at A.G. Edwards and later Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors) after it acquired the full service brokerage. Most recently, she worked as an escalation analyst in the Account Opening and Maintenance areas. In that capacity, she researched and resolved issues that occurred during the account opening process, made recommendations for process improvement, and helped with the conversion to a new operating system for the area.

Previously, Ms. Romero worked in the Document Review and Retrieval area of the Operations Division as a supervisor and oversaw the production and processes associated with reviewing account opening documentation for accuracy and timeliness. Her responsibilities included maintaining internal supervisory control audits, monitoring performance and analyzing and implementing new or updated applications required for processing.

She received her Associate's degree in Psychology from East Central College in Union, Missouri.
