Terri Frigerio. Assistant to the Chairman and Office Administrator, Benjamin F. Edwards and Co.

Terri Frigerio joined A.G. Edwards in 1980 in the Personnel Records Department. Her easy-going demeanor and friendly attitude made her a natural to work as a recruiter, and that’s just what she did when she moved to the firm’s Human Resources Department after just three months with the firm.

As a recruiter, Ms. Frigerio worked with the company’s department managers to identify their employment needs and the skills desired, and then interviewed prospective employees. She also worked closely with Benjamin F. (Tad) Edwards IV, who was the head of the department. It is a relationship that has endured nearly 30 years.

In 1994, she moved to part-time status and worked for senior management on an as-needed basis, and in a variety of positions throughout the firm. During this period, she also worked frequently with Tad Edwards in the firm’s Frontenac branch as a sales assistant, helping him respond to client inquiries and assisting him with various tasks.

In 1995, she worked exclusively for Tad Edwards when he returned to the Home Office after he was appointed a regional manager in the firm’s Branch Department, and when he was named director of Sales and Marketing several years later. In 2002, when Edwards moved to become branch manager for the firm’s Town and Country branch, Frigerio followed to assist him with his managerial obligations and responsibilities.

After A.G. Edwards was acquired by Wachovia Securities (now Wells Fargo Advisors), Frigerio resigned in 2008 to join Benjamin F. Edwards & Co.
